WNCSC Facilities
Future Home of the WNC Sculpture Center
A former gymnasium as part of the Patterson School, this 10,000 sq. ft. building will host the WNC Sculpture Center. We are currently holding a fundraising campaign to fund a new roof to begin our operations and programming. With 30 ft. ceilings, we are eager to offer a studio space for sculptors to have the unique opportunity to work on a large scale. The building is to be outfitted with general, private and community studios as well as interior gallery space to accommodate work of varying sizes.
Workshops, classes and demonstrations will be held at the sculpture center. We are open to receiving proposals to lead workshops and classes. You may submit a proposal here.
Sculpture Park
Set on property with 1,400 acres, this free and open to the public sculpture park will offers a destination for visitors, an annual rotating outdoor sculpture exhibition and beautiful landscape. In addition to open fields, hiking trails are accessible where sculpture will be installed.
We are open to proposals for sculpture to be shown in the park, installations and other sculpture initiatives.
