Glass Studio

The WNC Sculpture Center Glass Studio is a new edition to our offerings. Led by Boone based artist Adam Wells. Our glass studio offers a range of lamp working workshops to introduce the public to glassworking.

Glass Workshops

This series of individual classes will allow participants to choose to make one of the following:

• holiday ornament

• necklace pendant

• marble

The class covers basic flame working equipment as it relates to setup, safety operations and techniques. Participants will become familiar with the workings of a glass studio and its operation. Demonstrations will be given by the instructor step by step to then which participants will be guided through the process to create the object of their choosing. Items created during the workshop will be taken home to be enjoyed.

All listed classes are "Intro to Solid Glass Flameworking"
Class Fee: $160 for a single one hour and a half class.
Fees cover glass, torch access, safety gear, fuel/oxygen and access to the instructor.
